I hope they think long and hard about moving in a new direction after today. I like Mark Richt, nice guy. But he's not getting it done here anymore.

I was really hoping Miami would beg him to come down but they didnt. Now we just have to see if the university will do the right thing.

I'm not a Georgia fan, but if I were, I'd be ready for a change.

Any AQ team that loses to UCF should look at making a coaching change.

I'm sure Richt is a nice guy,and loves his family and players. However, the Bulldogs under him have consistently been very undisciplined. Just my opinion.

They underachieve constantly. They put too much talent into the NFL to be average to slightly above average most years.

I think its past time to move on from him. He'll never get them over the hump.

UCF was #25 in the BCS. Georgia was only favored because folks like you know nothing whatsoever about the Knights. If Godfrey was not hurt very early in that game and had his mobility greatly affected they would have won by more.

If, if, if. If Georgia had gone for it on 4th and inches at the goal line, early in the game, this game may have been going to OT. If Georgia had scored on that last hail mary, UCF would have lost.

If, if, if.

And no, I'm not a Georgia fan...Hook 'em Horns baby. (And boy do they have a lot more problems than Georgia!)

Well, I guess "if" Texas didn't suck this year they would have played in a Bowl game and you wouldn't have been as concerned about UCF/Georgia. :p:

My rant would probably not make as much sense to you if you are outside of the deep Southeast region. Georgia is a good program, but they are constantly overhyped. Constantly. When they lose, it is always something to do with Georgia and not the other team. Bad coaching, players underperforming, etc. I'm honestly just flat out tired of hearing it.

Richt wouldn't even go out and accept the runner up trophy after the game, which he should have because I'm sure they would have given it to him as a parting gift when he is given the boot.

Not saying UCF is a bad team.

My point is the AQ teams have such a financial and recruiting advantage that they should not lose to a non-AQ team, especially one with a relatively short existence in D1-A football.

Georgia has every resource advantage over any non-AQ team, so if they are unable to beat them with an established coach, there should be a change.

I know anything can happen in football, but the BCS is a total crock.
