Irvin show said he broke a plate he had in his thumb from his college days. Was out 2 weeks then and hopes it will be only 2 weeks this time.

Well it can. Tampa IR'd one of their better players, Jermaine Phillips, because of a broken thumb.

I can only imagine how painful a broken plate feels. A foreign object in your body, broken, rubbing against nerves. I wouldnt expect anyone to play through that.

What I am wondering is what he said to Campo on the sideline that made Campo snap at him.

Seriously though, recycling other people's failed coaches happens. Some time a change of scenery does a person good. Who recycles their own failed coaches though?
