Getting the feeling Saleh and Frazier interviews are about DC positions for new HC

I have no issues with Saleh interview but wasnt a fan of the Fraziae interview. But I am getting the feeling that maybe this is a situation where they might be gauging their interest in DC roles, if he were to bring in a KM. I really think KM is going to be the pick and getting a vet DC who has HC experience, seems like a solid move to support KM or New HC if they go that route.

not sure, I read somewhere that Saleh is a big time candidate in J'ville. I think he was LB coach there at one time.

Possible, but I would assume that Saleh would go back to SF if he wanted to get back into a coordinator role, no? I guess maybe Jerry could sweeten the deal for him to make it tempting somehow? Frazier is asst HC in Seattle so it would technically be a downgrade in position so Seattle would have to agree to it unless hes not longer under contract. I would guess that these two interviews are more serious than people think. Last go around people seemed to think McCarthy and Marvin Lewis weren't the top targets but ended up the two main interviews...honestly I couldnt even say if they interviewed anyone else.

I could see that since I still think they faking the funk with Zimmer in tow to be the HC unfortunately unless something crazy happens like Deion or something.

Kellen would be cam cup cake all over again, hope the choice is Saleh or someone else, this team is soft.
Yeah I actually see him as being a AHC/OC type hire for the HC with promises of looking at him as a successor (especially if it is Zimm) when he grows up lol.

Believe Frazier is asst head coach so they can’t hire him as Defensive Coordinator nor interview for the position without permission????

Technically yes, but I think it would be naive to think that in these conversations even for a HC position that this topic wouldnt/couldnt come up. For it to be something official would require Seattle's permission.

I just doubt either would join a Deon headed staff

If Jerry really wants KM at HC and wanted someone who had experience as a DC (esp from SF tree) and a head coach to help support KM and provide leadership support - then I am sure Jerry would definitely not have a problem paying - just like he did Quinn when he became available. Frazier at DC would be a downgrade but I dont think its farfetched that wouldnt let him go if he was offered but doesnt mean he would accept it either. I just dont see him being a real candidate, IMO, definitely a Rooney Rule move but not a real consideration. I think Saleh is a real consideration. But they already had decided on MM before the process had even been underway. I feel like Lewis was in the same boat as Frazier is now.

Never know with Jerry. Zimm was his coach before when he was a player so it's not a foregone conclusion that he wouldn't consider him to stay on as a DC.

Jerry’s unique system of picking coordinators himself before hiring a coach has gone well.

Why change?

Throw it all in a pot and boil, I’m sure it’ll be a delicacy. No need for a recipe.

Sometimes that oblong ball doesn’t bounce the right way. Sometimes for thirty consecutive years. Hey, it happens.

Eh, doubt Seattle would have given him that title if they were willing to let him walk for a coordinator position… kinda the point

Other than the fact that the new HC should pick their own staff, If they hire Kellen Moore, it don’t matter is picked - just another puppet show much the same

KM doesn't move the needle for me but I am wrong a lot.

We really need a disciplinarian that can get us back on track and have enough pull to land a great coaching staff. Not sure KM has that.
I know a guy. He use to wear 21. Kids are still doing his interception dance.
