Giants' Cam Skattebo says he mulled retiring after 2025 injury

I can answer you I think, the OP I think liked him and found this interesting.
The posts all seem negative.
I found him likable last year I saw a few giant games.
It's typical CZ garbage....... If this guy played for Dallas this thread wouldn't near as brutal as it is. Would #4 be pumped up as 'elite' if he played for a different team? Very unlikely. He would be bunched in with the other QB's like Herbert who can't get it done in the playoffs.

This guy is a more egregious case….like it would be exhausting to be around him.
He's been pissing his team mates off all off-season. I'll hold my hands up I saw him dominate against Texas in the playoffs and thought he's a dawg I'd want on my team. I was wrong. I'd bet knucklehead is going to be out of the league this year or next... if he goes to Cleveland, that counts.

Herbert consistently is put in the top 7-8 QB’s he’s often in the range of slots Dak is in. No one says Dak is elite as a talent either, though he’s capable of putting together an elite statistical season.

In fact people want to put Herbert in the top 5 based off talent but can’t due to his terrible playoffs. All this to say, if you put up the stats Dak does and win 10-12 games multiple times you’re going to get put in the top 6-10 spots often. Doesn’t matter if you play for Dallas or Arizona; if you have the stats and at least regular season wins you’re going to be a top 8-10 QB.

Then leave and spare us you incessant whining.

Them winning 7 games last year is really a miracle.

His quality of life is going to be terrible once he does retire unless he changes how he plays.

Great. He's on my fantasy football team. 20-something and already wants to quit. Knew I shouldn't have drafted a white boy at RB.

His obsession with #4 is weird
So you say I have a weird obsession with #4....

What about @Yobwocs, the person who has posted probably 500 threads about #4 over the off season? Would you call that person weird, or would you give him/her a pass? You can be honest, you won't bother me at all if you admit you would give @Yobwocs a pass but give me crap because I'm not a Dak fan.

For the record, the point was how CZ members tend to trash on athletes of other teams, but think many of the Cowboys players are all world. My comment had nothing to do with #4 other than he wouldn't be as highly thought of if he played for another team. CZ members tout their own, and although I sometimes shake my head, I won't argue with them, at least not any more.

I could have just as easily used Caleb Downs as an example, or any other player on the roster. Some CZ members already have him fitted for a gold jacket, but would the same CZ members be saying that if he was drafted by the Gnats or Iggs? Probably not. Many CZ members love the players on the roster - at least until they're no longer wearing the star.

Just defending a current Top 5 QB, and a career Top 7.

Also Dak would be the best QB in franchise history on 20 out of 32 teams.

But would you be defending him so fervently if he was wearing another teams uniform? I'm betting that's a no - you would think he was an average QB who has trouble beating the better teams and can't get over the playoff hump. There's no way you would be this far up his butt if he was wearing another uniform.

What if Dak and Herbert swapped uniforms? Herbert is considered a playoff loser and a trash QB around here, but if he were wearing the star he would turn into your crush while Dak would be the garbage QB who constantly fails in the postseason. I'm sure you will tell me I'm wrong.
