Over their past 11 regular season games, including the last 10 games of the 2022 season, and week 1 of the 2023 season, here are the records of the Giants and Jets:

3-7-1 Giants
3-8 Jets

Don’t believe the hype. Just because the Cowboys beat the Giants and Jets in week 1 & 2 of the 2023 season won’t mean the Cowboys are a juggernaut team. It will just mean the Cowboys beat two NFL bottom dweller teams.

And yet the two following seasons back-to-back twelve wins and getting into the playoffs says we are winning the first game like that just Lees more groundwork for that proof that those were not outliers that that's what we're building here.. So yeah stop the nonsense with trying to downplay the first game nobody's talking Super Bowl after that game but it was an impressive win no matter what team we played the fact is 75% of the media and other outlets picked the giants to win.. They literally said the giants improved some say they had the best coaching staff in the NFC East there was a bunch of positive things to say about the giants until we beat them that's when the narrative changed right so we stop on them all of a sudden they weren't that good but they were in the second round of the playoffs last year right they did beat that Vikings team we beat and also that Eagles just beat so they beat them also in the playoffs.. So again downplaying a win is worse than overplaying in my opinion from a fan base trying to find an excuse to lift their leg on our own team yes you have to play the rest of the games but I'd rather be that team than what the Bengals look like or some of the other teams look like in game one... You literally need to take it for what it is it was a **** stomping it was a whooping on the road outdoors in the rain which we've struggled especially in game ones in the past..

We dismissed a second round playoff team a in rival team who played us close last year in both games like they weren't even there on the road in the rain when they want to beat us badly because we beat them so many times in a row and then look what we did that's impressive it's impressive on its own who needs to name it we don't need to look forward but it was an absolute buck whooping..

The Cowboys were a 12-5 team last year and they are a better team this year. It is not just about 1 game. It's about their roster improvements.
That's what I tried to tell him this is reinforces our back-to-back twelve win seasons with one game and we know we have to play the rest of the games we don't need to downplay our own win by our own fans acting like we need to tap the brakes on what just being happy we boot stopped the division rival that 75% of the pickers on the sports TV shows pick the giants said the giants were about to take a step in the NFC East but then all of a sudden it's just saquon Barkley and a bag of chips that changed overnight they went for being a contender to a pretender because we beat them..

sometimes you just gotta hit on 1 subtraction on the team and we did just that with KM being gone. KM being gone will improve this offence in the post season.

But beating the teams you should be is a big sign you are a good team. Stop.

I admit they still have to prove it against the likes of Philly, SF and KC, but there is no denying this is a good football team.

Dude you got to give a “spoiler alert” before announcing we won the game.

The Jets actually started 7-4 last year and then had 6 game losing streak to end the season. They were still in the playoff hunt until week17.

And the Jets are expected to have one of the best defenses and even by the OP words in a thread last week called the Jets “ a Super Team”. They just beat one of the touted SB contenders without Rodgers.

Giants started the season 6-1 ending 9-7-1 with a Wild Card Playoff win.

The OP using the last 10 games of season was an attempt to spin a sarcastic narrative.

I’ve said many times the Cowboys are among the top 3 teams in the NFC, and I rank them about both Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills. The Cowboys also beat the Eagles soundly last year when Dak was healthy.

So I am not downplaying how good the Cowboys are. I’m saying don’t overestimate the Giants and Jets, just because the NYC press wants to believe so badly in their teams. Both teams suck. The Cowboys took care of business in New Jersey last Sunday, and I fully expect them to do it again this week.

I’m just not going to get overjoyed about them beating up on crappy teams. And I’m not going to let my emotions yo-yo all year long on their every game, or every mistake they make. I enjoyed their romp in the Meadowlands of Jersey. And they completed the shut out which is significant.

I expect them to crush the Jets this weekend, and won’t be overjoyed when they win against them. I’ll enjoy it. And I’ll enjoy all the individual plays they make. That’s the point. Enjoy it. But I don’t live and die by the Cowboys.

If you read my posts, you already know I believe the Cowboys are a top 4 team in the NFL, and should compete for a Super Bowl this season. That is why I’m saving my excitement for real significant wins against the other top teams.

Your point that we beat up on a bad team in the opener so it's not nearly as impressive as it looks is noted.
