Saw a rumor where the Pats were floating Stephon Gilmore as bait to get into the top ten. Woodja take 15 and Gilmore and take the best remaining defensive player such as JOK or Barmore to name a couple? That would really elevate the defense, for sure

Nope. He'd be a 16 million dollar cap hit one year rental. In a year I believe we're not even making the playoffs. Dallas has to be a much better team before they do stuff like that.

Heard Gallup could be involved also - what about Gallup and 10 for Gilmore, 15 and 46.

That sounds great. But for that to happen the Patriots would have to value Gallup much more than Gilmore to give us 46. But I really don't think the Pats would trade up with us. There's really no reason to.

ahhh, yes, then I would actually trade down one more time and have more picks in 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds.
