I had expected to hear folks talking quite a bit about him in the second round. Doesn't seem to be getting much attention.

Seems like he would be a viable option to slide in to G.

Maybe he can be a game wrecker in the vein of Deboo but he can't pass-protect and has limitations running between the tackles so as a pure running back he has limited value. If you draft him, you need to have a plan and I don't think he warrants building an entire offense around. That to me means puts limited teams that could take him in the 1st round. For Dallas with Pollard, how do we utilize him?

Hey, appreciate your reply. I agree, it probably comes down to utilization. I think of him more as a Kamara. Someone who if fully utilized could be a dynamic weapon.

Not sure that I can but I also don't know of any T's that have played anywhere near that weight. That's why I assumed teams might not believe him capable of playing T at this level.

He seems like an intriguing prospect that may fall. Thought he might be a value pick especially if you could trim him down to 345ish.

If teams view him as being able to play T at anywhere near that size, then he would seem a no brainer. That's why I am confused that I'm not hearing more about him.

He moves really well for his size. With his biggest in NFL history wingspan he does not have to have the foot quickness of some smaller OLinemen.

Thanks X. If a guy that size is a legit NFL RT, that seems like a ton of value in the late second. Most guys anywhere near that size seem to be viewed only as candidates to move inside. That wingspan is a huge asset.

I would think he could play G, but it is unfortunate that we would need him to play LG to help us immediately so completely opposite his normal side.

He seems like an intriguing prospect that may fall. Thought he might be a value pick especially if you could trim him down to 345ish.

Dawand Jones is not fat. He just has a massive frame which is highlighted by his massive wingspan.

Trent Brown 6'8-1/2". Was 355 when drafted. Listed at 380 in the NFL.

Mekhi Becton 6'7-1/2", 364 when drafted.

Daniel Faalele 6-8, 390 when drafted. Ravens 2022 4th round pick.

Aaron Gibson 6-6, 380 when drafted. Got up to 410 in the NFL and reportedly up to 480 after his NFL career.
- The Cowboys acquired him in 2001 and they didn't have a helmet large enough to fit him.
- They had to get his helmet from his previous team and paint it.

Terrell Brown 6-10, 388 when drafted. Reported to the Rams at 403 pounds.

Bryant McKinnie 6-8, 352 when drafted. Got up to 380 in the NFL.

Nate Newton. NFL listing 6-3, 335. Reportedly got up close to 400 in his USFL years (prior to playing for the Cowboys).

Michael Jasper 6-4, 375 (NFL listing). Played both NT and OG in college at 450 pounds.

I had expected to hear folks talking quite a bit about him in the second round. Doesn't seem to be getting much attention.

Seems like he would be a viable option to slide in to G.

I mean, he definitely is an intriguing prospect. I like his run blocking and his temperament… I don’t love his feet in pass blocking against speed and twitch.

If you could guarantee me that he wouldn’t have issues staying healthy at that huge size, I would like him a lot more.

Speaking for myself, I worry about those huge guys always being nicked up or flat out injured (see Makhi Becton).

I definitely like parts of his game and also like his potential… but worries in pass protection and injuries blunts my desire to see him in Dallas.

At some point, I’d be happy to take a flyer on him but I think he will be drafted before reaching my comfort zone to pick him.

I share your concern. Most of the "giants" I can think of either have eaten their way out of the league or been injured \ ineffective to an extent that their true value was less than it should have been.

If you could get him down 25-30 lbs and maintain, I think he would have a chance for some longevity.
