Fantastic show. Hell Yeah is a snarling blend of Pantera/Mudvayne .. very serious about the metal they bring to the people lol. It's loud and angry with a few bluesy moments. Sangre Por Sangre was intense and "haf!"

I'm biased but I think Volbeat is the most fun band I've seen in years without losing any ounce of musical credibility. They sound perfect. The band is terrificly talented- can thrash, rockabilly, have an undeniable incredible vocal talent in MP who is quite quirky but positive and loves his place in the rock world. Perfect set list... Hangman's Bodycount, Lola Montez, Heaven Nor Hell, Warriors Call (heard @ Cowboys Stadium from my TV btw), Dead but Rising... everything you'd want them to play, they played. Virtually no bad language in their show except of course on "Booze, Booze, Booze".

FFDP isn't my deal really, but sounded good. To me they're a bit forced. An attitude band that relies on the middle finger approach and they're love for the military. Great covers, pantera-ish riffs save them.

Thanks for the review. I'm still on the fence and it will likely come down to $$$.

If you like Volbeat as much as I do- go. I will not miss a local show they play going forward. Awesome time. Tix were 55 for GA. Get there early Hell Yeah was 3 songs in when we got to the arena @ 6:50.

The members of Pantera were RABID Cowboy fans...

They used to come on to The Ticket from time to time...

Dimebag Darrell was especially a huge fan... sad what happened to him...
