Buy ahead or hit up scalpers on game day?

Any Seattle area fans got the scoop?

Very difficult matchup for us. The second year in a row that the NFL has sent us on the road the opening two weeks to the opposite ends of the country.

I'd love to sweep both games, but in reality, going 1-1 would be tolerable.

Not really. Seattle isn't that good. We should win rather easily.

Look, i don't want to argue too much about this.

They should be better this year, but not even taking that into account,
here are some home game results just from last year only:

They blew out Philiadelphia 31-14 late in the season when Philly was rolling.
They beat Baltimore....who went 12-4.
They lost in the closing minutes to San Francisco 17-19.

They are very challenging at home.

I swear....Sometimes you argue just the **** of it.

We can do it for sure. But coming off a big opening day orad game and then traveling to the other coast is no picnic. We pulled it off at SF last year though.

I'd say buy ahead.

I just bought my tickets today (C139, row I). I want to tailgate, but apparantly everyone just goes to bars in the area. I'm still going to try and convince my friend to tailgate and cook out. I can't wait!

The tickets are kind of expensive, man. The Cowboys, and the fact it's their home-opener, are the reason.

If that is the case, despite it being more important, I would prefer to lose the Giants' game as I am going to the game in Seattle.

Other than the crowd, there is no reason we shouldn't be the Seabags, they are starting a rookie QB.

More fact it is Cowboys I am sure.

I'm in the upper deck but at least it is covered in case it rains.

Of course you don't wanna argue because you're wrong. As I said Seattle was a below average football team last year. Evident by the fact they were only 7-9 even though they played in a horrible division arguably the worst in the league. You claim they're very challenging at home, but they're average at best evident by their 4-4 record. Sure they could be better this season just like a lot of teams, but based off last season I don't think you can say it'll be tough to beat them in Seattle.

Philly, Baltimore, San Fran from last year...the Saints the year before in the playoffs...and many others from years past will tell you otherwise.
They always seem to pull a big upset or two out there. Maybe stretch your mind a tiny bit and look back into history.

But I get your point. You say Seattle sucks and we should pound them in Seattle after even playing the Giants on the opposite coast the week before. That's what your saying. I get it.

Your opinion is clear.

Again they won three games against good teams, but they lost a bunch of other games evident by their 4-4 record. I really don't see what playing on the opposite coast has to do with it. We play the Giants on September 5th. We don't play Seattle till September 16th. Playing on opposite coasts will have no impact on the game.

Weren't the Eagles under .500 at the time the Seahawks beat them?

Didn't they play the Ravens on like Christmas Eve?

It doesn't matter whether Seattle is better than last year. More times than none, the Cowboys are notorious for playing down or up to the level of their competition. Seattle will give us a good game, and home field advantage will factor into that, especially this early on in the season.

CL, don't bang your head against the wall, you are facing the typical "I am scared" crowd. The Seabags could have gone 2-14 last year and some would be scared for this game.

The Eagles were one of the very best teams in the league the last half of last season, and that's when they played them. Over the last 7 games, they had one other loss ( 28-30 vs New England).

As for the Ravens lost there on Nov 13.

Look, I'm just saying they can be very tough at home. I did not at all say that they are great or consistant...just that they have a very real track record of beating top teams out there from time to time.
I'm not at all saying we will lose.
