Gold Rush is doing his best to create that "quarterback controversy"

Look out folks but Gold Rush doesn't want to give up his position as starting quarterback for the Cowboys and it's not just because the Cowboys are 2 and 0 with him as a starter either. Rush looks so calm whether he's under center or in the shotgun plus he has no problem changing the plays at the line of scrimmage either. The guy stands in the pocket and delivers strikes to the receivers and he does it with velocity and accuracy. There weren't many throws last night that I can remember that were off the mark and if they were then the defense did a really good job of holding and getting away with it too like on the two plays to Noah Brown which were blatant pass interference. The three deep balls that he threw (two to Lamb and one to Tolbert) were strikes and the one Lamb dropped for a sure touchdown and the other two were good plays by the DB to knock it out of their hands. So the bottom line is if Gold Rush continues to play like this I think it's safe to say (and I'm a big of Dak fan as anyone) Rush will continue to be the Cowboys quarterback.

I don't think he will take the spot from Dak but what this is really doing. Putting A LOT more pressure on Dak. He will start hearing Cooper chants if he can't figure it out and I'm okay with that.

If Rush continues to play at this level the next couple of weeks it becomes a very real debate. A lot can change in two weeks though, and all it takes is one bad game to take all the air out of the conversation. Lets just evaluate this situation one week at a time.
