Just now seeing this for the first time. I remember flipping through channels recently and stopping on an episode of Good Times where her character got romantically involved with a deaf suitor. Usual sitcom stuff but she did well projecting all the little insecurities a partner might have getting into a relationship having a possible future that might seem somewhat scary. Good stuff.

Rest in peace, Mrs. Dubois.
