I see it different. I look at the iPhone and what I see is a replica of the contemporary black lacquer furniture of the 80s made into a phone. Very sleek, but also very plain. For the iPhone it is 100% the apps that make the phone. The OS itself as plain as a blank sheet of paper.
That isn't the case with Android. The OS is customizable. You can make it act different ways, change your home screens, have different home screens, reassign buttons, place and adjust the size of widgets. The OS offers base level services that iOS does not. The ability to not just block an apps data usage, but ONLY block it's background data usage. So, you can prevent those stupid apps from reporting where you are at all times even when not using the app.
Basically, the Android OS allows you to make your phone what you want. The iPhone you basically have to accept what you get.
Both phones have apps. It's Android OS that makes the different for me. As I noted above. The Prime phone is nice, but it's Android that makes the phone kick ***.
