Google's April Fools joke, Gmail Motion.

One of my favorite days of the year. Already had a friend ready to kill her best friend for saying she was pregnant by cheating on her husband. Oh, she was pissed, at 3 am.

Anyway, Google is famous for its April Fool's jokes, and the Gmail motion is a great new one. My favorite is still the 1:1 scale map of the Earth presented by Google Maps that would move the objects in the real world to the placement on Google Maps if the object was misrepresented in the real world.

I just got pranked by my developer on a software that we are rolling out to our employees. He really tricked that thing out with psychadelic hearts on the sides, replacing all the business icons with different smilies, gifs, etc and throwing in the Rockford Files theme song for good measure.

I figured that was Google's prank, but I can't get to gmail from work so I'll have to wait until tonight to find out what the "motion" thingy is about.

A colleague of mine thought it would be funny to put salt in my water jug and I almost spit it up on a client. I got him back him when I changed his screen saver that said "I AM IDIOT" and it came up with his back to the computer screen while he was talking to a client. They were talking for about 5 minutes with this screen flashing this sign behind him in full sight of the client. She had a hard time not to laugh and finally just burst out laughing. She told him what she was laughing at and he just smiled and said that was good.
