For a group to pull off four great albums in a row is rare...

Name the group and the four albums.

Obviously what one person thinks is a great album may not be another's cup of tea.

Pantera:
  1. Cowboys from Hell
  2. Vulgar Display of Power
  3. Far Beyond Driven
  4. The Great Southern Trendkill
  5. Bonus, Reinventing the Steel
Though in truth, The Great Southern Trendkill is easily my least favorite, but you can't reject an album with a song like Drag The Waters on it!

ELVIS:

•NBC TV-Special...the soundtrack to Elvis' historic 68 comeback special...his first performances in front of a live audience since the pearl harbor memorial show in 61.
Elvis comes alive....raw...real.
best track:If I Can Dream.
•From Elvis In Memphis...the first album from the brilliant sessions at American Studios in '69...with renewed confidence and love of music...Elvis records arguably his finest album.
best track:In The Ghetto
•double album release...his first...titled
From Memphis To Vegas/From Vegas To Memphis...released in '69...the first album covers his 69 performance in Vegas....Elvis was manic....like a tiger released from captivity....he finds freedom again.
best track...8min version of Suspicious Minds.
The 2nd album was a 10 track LP of more songs recorded at American Studios....brilliant session...equally brilliant songs.
best track:without love.
later this double album would be broken up and sold individually as
Elvis In Person and Back In Memphis.

my 4
nbc tv special
from elvis in memphis
in person
back in memphis

The Supremes:

More Hits by the Supremes
I Hear a Symphony
The Supremes a Go-Go (the first album to go #1 by an all-girl group)
The Supremes Sing (Holland-Dozier-Holland)

All four albums cracked the top-10.

As a side note, if one looks up the sales off Christmas albums in the fifties, the numbers are astronomical. Everyone bought Christmas albums.

And yeah, I typed "Christmas" and not "Holiday".

So there. :)
