You didn't know that?

Also a rumor or story that Jim talked about faking his death at one time.

He said if he ever did that and they got a call from Mr. Mojo Rising they would know it was him.

Have no clue if that was true or not.

You should read the book "No one here gets out alive" by Danny Sugarman on Morrison and the Doors, crazy stuff.

I DID read it, and still have a copy of it.

Musta skipped that page. ;)

I've always been a hopeless Romo-antic myself. "That's What I Like About You" could be played before evry Cowboy home series.....I've gone over your heads.

But "Talkin In Your Sleep " was better.

Frankly what 80s tune wasn't great...except for Cinderella....and "The Safety Dance"...and the "Super Bowl Shuffle". Ok fine, most 80s music was pretty fun and still is.

Gotta disagree, few of those video's have aged too well.

Well, it's the Golden Age to me.

Not high on tech, but big on spirit.

The Safety Dance needs to be tweaked and resurrected - as Roy Williams theme song. Get some rappers on it and some horse collar clips.

I was born in 1983 so alot of it is distant memory but whenever i see one on VH1 they tend to make me chuckle, that being said I am a huge Def leppard and Van Halen fan inspite of the videos.

Safety Dance was a classic! I didn't realize it was big in the States.

It wasn't.

It got airplay but not that much..it was memorable because of the quirky lead singer who must have been as tall as Shaq and the video appealed to every aging hippy and/or medievalist...

I didn't grow up in the states and it was a little before my time except that in an isolated place like Borneo trendy was not the fashion, pop culture traveled slower before the advent of the personal computer and cable in every home.

I've always wondered what became of Men Without Hats. They definately fall in the one-hit wonder category.
