Shocking and controversial as this series appears to be, it may serve as some kind of relief to know that these are photo munipulations created by Belgain photographer Frieke Janssens to bring awareness to a viral epidemic of children smoking.

I'd rather our government stay out of both area's. It's not their job to dictate individual habits of people.

I agree. But if they were doing something, I'd rather it be them putting on a front of some sort of child, anti-smoking campaign. That way, at least it looks like they're doing something useful.
