I have often wondered how many times in war two soldiers have wondered about the men they face and how it affects someone else?

I have often wondered how many times in war two soldiers have wondered about the men they face and how it affects someone else?

I would love to hear about more enemy soldiers that come face to face in war, but walk away without conflict.

The scenes in Saving Private Ryan where the guy who is scared to shoot anyone and lets that German guy go instead of shooting him. Later on he sees him killing his buddies ands catches him again and gets so angry and blows him away then lets the rest go.

That was a powerful scene in the movie. I think I need to watch that movie again.
