I did something similar to my roommate one time when we were driving back to school.

My wife told me that she saw something on the news about this and I guess the wife was pissed at first but then wasn't surprised he did it because he pulls pranks on her all the time.

Ive done that to my buddy using a telephone poll. You go 5 km scream and lock your brakes. He found it about as funny as that wife.
