People will whine about the "halftime adjustments" but we are definitely making changes in-game that give us an edge. That to me is really encouraging, it seems if/when we get the formula right we are simply better than our opposition. It's probably only the Green Bay game where it hasn't been the case.

The G-Bag Nation on 105.3 was saying earlier today that since after the Cincinnati game week 2, the Cowboys have outscored the opponents by a 180-62 margin. You cannot ask for better than that.

Well, you could, but...

Say what you will about McCarthy, Quinn, and Moore. To me, their halftime adjustments have been pretty darn stellar. Maybe having a high talented team where young rookie and 2nd year players making vast contributions might play a role in that? If so, then that goes towards the coaches preparations for each game.

@Bobhaze thinks half-time adjustments is a myth. But it may actually be a real thing.

The coaches in the booth are probably making notations as to what plays have been working. Who's been winning their blocks and what routes a DB has been struggling to cover. So they then send down their suggested play calls for the second half.

I just made that up but it sounds about right. I mean why have all of those guys in the booth. They have to be doing something, right?
