I write with my left hand. I use a fork and spoon with my left hand. But I throw right handed, swing a bat or golf club right handed, I play guitar right handed, I use both feet playing soccer (there is no dominant foot anyway), use right handed scissors, and I am right handed with a hand-gun. My late brother was the exact opposite of me. What I do with my left hand he did with his right, but he was left handed in sports.

Left handed people are more creative, and as children tend to be more likely to be in gifted programs. Left handed people are more rare, but valuable things are always rare.

I had read that left handed children tended to ride the short bus. Any truth to that?
