Thanks for sharing, I remember when he first went inTy . I sit here thinking the same thing in my mind. How big I'm gonna hug him. Seems like he's been gone an eternity. But is still just 23, turns 24 this month. Made Sergeant too. Even after almost dying two different times. His commanding officer asked him why he didn't go get a medical discharge from the Army, and his response was I was gonna complete my full contract no matter. He's an amazing kid. Now he's driving across the country from out west where he was stationed. Should get here Tuesday night. I have his old room ready. We are so glad he's coming home in one piece. Our hearts were breaking when he was in ICU.
