My mother passed away in March. If you have a mom and she loves you, take the time today to tell her you love her too. The opportunity of hearing and feeling her say I love you back shall one day fade to only feeling the love she always had for you. Embrace today's opportunity as extra special because it is.

Happy Mother's Day to the mothers of Cowboys fans (and even non-Cowboys fans) everywhere.

I'm sorry for your loss, DE. I lost my mom 5 1/2 years ago, gosh I can't believe it's been that long, sure doesn't feel like it. Although I have two kids of my own, and Mother's Day is still meaningful to me, I must admit that not having my mom here to say the words Happy Mother's Day to has taken some of the happiness out for me. I know exactly what you mean about hearing your mom say I Love You back. The words resonate in your heart in such a very special way. When we lose our mothers, we try to bring that reverberation back, just so we can feel it again, to pretend that we hear our mother's say it once more, but somehow it falls short of the real thing. My thoughts to you today, Dallas East.

And thank you for the Mother's Day wish to us, even through your personal pain. You are a kind man, sir.

I know how ya feel DallasEast. My mother passed away of esophageal cancer back in 2007.
