Harassed Dolphin Dies on Texas Beach

"Harassed" seems like a word the authorities use for anyone interacting in any way with the animal. I'm sure most, if not all the people had good intentions.

agree….it’s being reported by the Fake News station that doesn’t fact check anymore. Their agenda is to create a scenario that shows the worst in people…..we all know 99% of people have and will continue to rescue animals

My gosh this is sorts of dumb…

It was being reported by many stations. There were people that called and reported what they saw to authorities.

The dolphin in these photos stranded alive on Quintana Beach, TX on Sunday evening and was reportedly pushed back to sea where beachgoers attempted to swim with and ride the sick animal. She ultimately stranded and was further harassed by a crowd of people on the beach where she later died before rescuers could arrive on scene. .....We'd like to thank the beachgoer who reported the stranding, and the Quintana Beach County Park for getting on site as quickly as possible!

“In this case, it’s a pretty egregious example of what not to do,” Marshall said. “People riding the animal, the animal was quite sick, already stressed at this point. The animal was probably on the brink and the stress is what killed it.”

I believe some people did push it back in the water, and probably tried to swim with it, but it's pure hearsay that they tried to ride it. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't, but I very much doubt there was any malicious intent. Ignorance? Of course! Intent to cause it harm? I don't think so.

I still maintain that 99% of our citizens would have attempted a rescue. If illegal aliens brought it to shore and cooked it on the beach it would have been approved as culturally sound.

how ya like dem apples?:D

Of course you “still maintain.”

When you’re unintelligent you’ve got no choice but to stick with guns.

Anyone who thinks 99% of people would do anything at all is a moron.
