Has Troy commented on our latest collapse? Like him or not I think he has straight forward takes on the state of this team and who knows this team better than him.
Just would be real curious to see what he has to say?

Kurt Warners breakdown, call out MM for horrible play calling and design from what I read. We play good teams and our schemes get exposed Which is what we saw all year.

Here ya go @Cwby41, good interview

Thanks for posting. I appreciate Smith getting the Cowboys out of the way first because I cannot stomach him for very long.

Video mark 6:40 (approximately) - Troy Aikman points out two things I have not considered about a Bill Belichick hiring, who I did not think would strongly consider a job offer. Those two things were Belichick seeking: 1) the overall coaching win record; and 2) another Super Bowl opportunity. The latter is a goal every coach would want BUT the former is within shooting distance of Belichick achieving.

Could Belichick tolerate Jerry Jones long enough to catch and pass Don Shula? The record is only 27 wins away. That is doable in two, possibly three, seasons if he can galvanize what McCarthy has helped put together. That chance would be highly tempting for sure.

A few thoughts:
1. Stephen A. Smith is clearly thoughtful and articulate. He’s a very good interviewer and very watch-able when he’s not in his anti-Cowboys mode.

2. It’s pretty obvious Troy still loves the Cowboys. I loved what he said about Jimmy. All of the posters here who complain about him being anti-Dallas are off base.

3. Jerry is the problem.

I was thinking about this the other day: what if he had been doing this game? He might have exploded on TV.

I'd try to bring Jimmy back just based on that halftime speech alone. He's an actual coach, not some babysitter holding a clipboard.

I posted this in another thread, this is what he had to say after Garrett was fired:

He mentioned it on Monday night broadcast. Gave Packers credit for taking it to Cowboys.
