Have you had a hole-in-one golfing? More than one?

I have not. A few inches from one once and I didn't miss the birdie butt, lol.
I’ve had one. Naniloa golf course Hilo Hawaii. I hit it and lost sight of it as I thought it bounced over the green. Mostly luck as I’m not that good.

Crazy thing my son had one in his teens. We thought he hit it over the green too and when we couldn't find it, I said look in the hole, and sure enough there it was.
I once had one get wrapped up in the flag and drop next to the hole. Maybe that's what happened?

Kind of sorta. I shanked one out of the tee box, maybe went 50yds. I was still around 260 yds out. My 2nd hit went right in

I've hit a bunch. Quit counting at ten. All on the same hole. It really wasn't all that hard after you got the timing of that drawbridge down and dialed in how hard to bounce it off the side bank.

I have been playing golf for 50 years and have never had a hole in 1 or an eagle. I came close to an eagle a few times but the hole in one has eluded me all this time.

I once missed an eagle by 6 inches hitting it up into a tree next to the green. The ball took a pinball route down to the green and rolled a few inches from the cup. The best unintentional shot I ever made. LOL.

The closest I’ve come is less than an inch away.

It was exhilarating and heartbreaking at the same time.

I've had two.

My first one was when I was a teenager when I was golfing with my friend, his dad and little brother.

Trying to be funny, I took a junior-sized 5 iron from my friend's little brother's bag and used it on a par-3 200 yard hole.

It felt like swinging a putter and I hit it harder and lower than I planned to. The ball went straight at the pin, slammed into the pin, went up in the air and dropped straight down into the hole.

For the rest of the time we were out there, my friend and I had his little brother convinced it was a golf rule that if you use someone else's club and get a hole-in-one, you get to keep the club. :D

The second one I was older playing in a charity golf tournament my company was sponsoring. They had a 5-minute rule on lost balls and then it was a 2-stroke penalty and drop from where you last hit it.

I thought the ball went past the green which was a big drop-off along with a water hazard behind it. My group and I looked for my ball and just when I said I was just going to take the penalty and grab a replacement ball one of the guys who was getting ready to put asked me if that was mine in the hole, and it was.

The sad thing is I didn't even get to appreciate it because we had to move on immediately as the delay backed up the groups behind us.

Countless here too. Links 386 Pro. VGA colours and the PC speakers. Will never forget that bird chirping sound. Key memory of my childhood.

And I know that counts. It does, right?
I hit one in a SNES golf game, but I can't recall what it was called at the moment. I'll have to look through a list to see if I can find it.

And, yeah it counts, lol.

Using someone else's club is a disqualification. That one doesn't count! :muttley:
