He can't even go to a basketball game?

Billups on the Pistons still being better than the Cavaliers, in his mind:
"I believe that, I really do," Billups said. "There's nobody that team who is better than ours. And maybe I'm crazy, maybe I've got too much confidence in these guys, but I don't believe that. I believe in us. I believe we're the better team.
"Did we back it up? No, we didn't. I still think we're better, I'm saying that because I'm serious, and I really believe that. To be saying that in defeat, I have no problem with that. I'm standing up and saying that. I think the same could be said by a lot of guys."

:cry2:

Here's your sign.........................L

Just curious. Why would Mavericks fans 'boo' Braylon Edwards?

the point is...they have a football team, and T.O. doesn't play for them, so why would you expect him to get a positive reaction?

it's no big deal.

Me? I don't know. I guess I could have cheered for him in regards to his charitiable contributions as reported here on the forum recently. But this thread wasn't about "What if _______________ received boos or cheers from ____________ crowd".

I've already provided a pretty solid conclusion on this thread for the reasoning behind the Cleveland fans booing Owens last night.

If Braylon Edwards had been at the game last night and received boos, I'm sure someone might question why, but since it never happened..?

Ah, yes. The 'no big deal' phrase surfaces again. Kinda... 'meaningless', huh? :D

What's funny. Is it had nothing to do with Clevand. They were in detroit. And they weren't booing T.O. They were booing there sorry *** team, that couldn't stop Lebron James, has he single handly broke there freaking backs.

LBJ and THe Cavs, will beat the spurs, and all you haters will be "witnesses" to the marvel that is Lebron James

Good day, to the hater nation

This happened yesterday. They were in Cleveland.

As for another reason why he was booed, well the blurb also mentions Kid Rock...a known Pistons fan. Could he have been the target of the boos?

I know that I didn't watch the game, but...

...didn't the Pistons and Cavaliers play Game 6 in Cleveland? It is Game 6 that Gerstner wrote her article about right...?

I've asked this before and didn't get an answer. Did Gerstner report it in error?

Now, that's a good question. If Kid Rock and Owens were sitting together or closely together, that might be the explanation.

Finally. Thanks, WG. :)
