Sundays are hell on my DVR now. Those three shows, throw in a little Amazing Race beginning tonight (and probably late because of the late game on CBS). But the #1 priority is always gonna be Dexter.

Yeah the wife got me into the amazing race a couple years back. But i noticed this time around they started it around 8:30 vs 8 and 60 minutes at 7:30 vs 7 so that should help.

As far as DVRing the other shows...I work around it on some by recording some of the shows when they come on an hour or so after the first run.

That way I can watch some of the shows (like amazing race) and skip through most TV ads and the watch a show later in the evening...then I might save one for the next day to watch after work or something.

It can be a pain when all of the new shows/seasons start up but then you start weeding out a few and in the case of Showtime/HBO if you have to you can always not record an episode and just wait till the next day or so and catch it on demand (if you have that on your cable box). Also shows like amazing race you can catch the next day on the internet with less ads if need be.

Used to have that problem...but not now.

I got Multiroom DVR and now I can tape anything any where in my house and watch it anywhere.

I have 4 DVR's so I can tape up to 8 things at once.

Awesome.

Good start for Dexter...and Amazing Race.

And loving Boardwalk Empire also.
