7:00 PM): Cavs' TE; two others to go pro... Pretty much as expected, Virginia junior TE Heath Miller has announced that he will be entering the 2005 draft where he is likely to be the first player at the position selected. Meanwhile, 6-4, 310-pound Mississippi C Chris Spencer has also reportedly announced that he'll be entering this year's draft. There is also an unconfirmed report on the wire that Temple junior QB Walter Washington will be entering the draft.

He's there in 2 I draft him! Big TE/WR hybrids are the trend............

We've got two good TEs on the roster already.

We won't draft Miller.

Enough TEs.
Sean Ryan was cut by us, and no other team signed him..............

Heath Miller is an upgrade and thats what we need, everywhere.

Witten blows out a knee? What do we have? Happens.

Reminds me of the "I like Hunter, Davison and Powell" last offseason like list.

UPGRADE!

We have much bigger needs to fill in the 2nd round than TE.

*** up in not collecting bigger Lb's, he also collects and covets Tight Ends............

FS...
CB...
DT...
DE...
LB...
WR...
QB...

Stop me if I've missed anything.

Drafting a TE is not even a question unless we somehow wind up with eight first day picks.

I bet we draft a TE before all those positions are drafted - Book it.

It would not suprise me at all. I doubt 2nd Round though.

Parcells did say in one of his Press Conferences this year Dallas was looking very seriously at Cooley in last years draft.

Heath Miller will be long gone by the end of the first round, so this whole discussion is moot...

The Skins would be wise to give him some serious thought, even as high as pick 9... he's just what Joe Gibbs looks for in a TE... but we've got Witten and Campbell and Ryan and Pierce and Trusty, I don't see the Boys going for another TE in the draft... especially not as early as Heath is likely to go...

Campbell off bad foot - never say never.

I didn't say "Never". I say we won't draft Miller in the second round.

End of story.

Yes, let's worry about getting a backup while we can EASILY be drafting starters.

I bet we don't draft a TE on the first day. Book it.

Agreed. He's the best TE in the draft. I could see the Panthers taking them with the 14th pick, possibly.

Then we must be drafting a TE with the #11.

I'm usually on board with you Nors, but there's no way we address TE before some of these other positions are addressed.

And no crow bets. Those things always end up argumentative anyway.

Why would be draft another TE. THere are more pressing needs on this team in my eyes.

Willie Walden, TE, Montana. 6'7" 275. Looked good during the I-AA playoffs. Late round.

Like Witten and Miller cause major matchup issues for D's. He's there in 2 he's a Cowboy - Book it.
