I have a plasma tv and while I'm watching soccer, I always notice a motion blur..it almost never happens while I'm watching any other sport..I never notice this issue on the LCD tv that's in another room..is there anything i can do (maybe settings wise) to solve this issue?

Well there you have it. Let that be a lesson to you, your tv is trying to tell you something, never watch that forsaken sport:D

not sure what you are seeing is "ghosting" you might look that up and see if it's your problem. I don't have issues when watching live sports, and my dad watches soccer on our 46'' Panasonic Plasma (720p, I think) and there weren't any complaints from him.

Pretty sure that happens on most HDTVs with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Some are worse than others. Get a TV with a 120 Hz refresh rate or higher.

Plasmas have a sub field drive that is equal to a top end of almost 600hz refresh rate, unless it is an old plasma.

It could just be that one station's encoding. If it's compressing heavily, high-motion will look poopish no matter what; it's out of your control.
