Fact is what I guess most people don't know is that Henson is playing with a depleted receiving corps...

Both Roscoe Crosby (probably would have been the best receiving in NFLE) Jason Anderson were supposed to be on the Rhein Fire. Now he is working with Zuriel Smith...

Zuriel Smith is about as good as it gets for an NFL Europe receiver. He has some talent.

He's OK for an NFLE receiver.

His hands are suspect, and he isn't going to fight for a ball. That throw to the endzone was a fantastic throw - Terry Glenn, Key, TO, good NFL receivers beat the DB for that ball.

I would describe Smith the same way Parcells described Ross - kind of a street ball player.

He gets open on speed - he doesn't have that natural cut/deception ability to get open.

Yup do to injuries he is playing with the #3 and #4 WR and the #2 or 3 TE

You have to be fast to get open on speed. Zuriel Smith runs like a 4.6 or 4.7. He's not fast.

Thats on a track. He is football fast. But like what was said, the guy doesn't cut fluidly, but he is pretty good. He's a small college player, and you see that he excells against DB's that weren't blue chippers in college, that's how he made it to the NFL. He's a career STer and #4 guy most likely.

Fortunately, NFLE is NOT like the real NFL in this regard.

In the real NFL, the difference between the #1 and #4 WR's is astronomical. In NFLE, there really isn't much of a difference between #1 and #6.

So what. It isn't like he's going to be evaluated on stats anyway.

Jerry and Bill (and Palmer) are going to spend hours looking at the film and grade his performances. He could have had 15 drops this weekend and he would still likely grade out very well.

Exactly, the WR and RB are good enough so that the team can sustain drives and score some points.

If his Oline did not give him any portection and his WR's were absolutely terrible so you could not get a read on him that would be a problem, but they are no where near that bad and I think his OLine does a pretty good job.

If he was never under pressure it would not give you a good guage either.

Actually if you see other teams, his OL has to be bottom 2 at the very least on Pass protection. They are somehow pretty good at Run Blocking seems like or maybe their RBs do very well despite their blocking, since Jackson impresses me with his running.

Henson most of time doesn't let pressure really get to him. He is either getting rid of the ball, even throwing it away or running away from pressure really well.

I do agree with you completely that somehow his crappy OL is a good thing, as long as he manages to stay healthy. Thats the reason we are probably seeing why he is considered such a good prospect. If he had ton of time or good WRs, we probably wouldn't know his full potential.

Fact is what I guess most people don't get is that Henson could be playing here in Dallas with TO, one of the leagues 3 best, and it wouldn't matter very much...

Talk about complete lack of perspective.

The guy is playing well in a developmental league and is showing progress. It makes complete sense that the progress would continue in the NFL.

Im sorry for the doubters who want to be right but the fact is he has a QB rating of over 90 in NFLE and is getting better. There is nothing to say that he cant carry that over.

There is no guarantee but he is showing something and your blind hatred is for lack of a better term, STUPID.

I am thoroughly confused by this post. Could you please clarify?
