'I'm a tight end, man'

That was Jason Witten's answer when asked whether he considered going down after his helmet popped off on that 53-yard catch-and-run.
"I'm a tight end, man," Witten said. "I can't go down."
Witten, who had three catches for 77 yards in the win, was actually a bit perturbed that he didn't score on the play. LB Chris Gocong kept Witten from his second spectacular TD of the night.
I mentioned to Witten that his helmetless dash ranked right up there with Jay Novacek's hurdle as the best highlights for Cowboys tight ends. He made a good case why his play should be considered the best.
"Mine hurt a lot worse," said Witten, whose nose was bloodied on the play.
