I believe if we beat the Panthers this week, I think they will miss the playoffs. I think the Falcons will beat them at there place the last game of the season.

So you have Washington beating the Giants but losing to Philly in the last game of the season to miss out. I can only imagine the suffering of the Washington faithful-- music to my ears!

who knows, after wrapping up the East against the Commanders, the Giants players may have just decided not to show up for the Raiders game...lol

If we beat the Panthers we will beat the Rams and we'll get in somehow.

If we lose to the Panthers we will find a way to lose to the Rams and all hell breaks loose...People jumping off roofs and shooting themselves...Jerry fires Parcells and then Calm and Happiness is restored....When Jerry hires back Jimmy! :D

WE are not making the playoffs Carolina is a better team than us we; Cowboy fans will be crying a river of tears come Saturday

I am a diehard cowboys fan, but i really dont like our chances right now

Hehe...

way to keep up the hope. Lets not worry about playoff matchups right now and focus on beating the Panthers. The Panthers havent wrapped things up and could be out of the playoffs if they lost both games. That is why this game tomorrow is crucial. We as fans can pencil down who we want in the playoffs but it is the players that will make it happen.

I think the boys will win in Carolina tomorrow, I'm surprised to see so much pessimism here. The Panthers are a good team but they're certainly as beatable as the Chargers were opening day.

I am rooting for the Giants this weekend but think the Commanders win the game. Tampa will take care of Atlanta and Baltimore will beat Minnesota. The following week, Dallas easily handles the Rams, the Giants beat the Raiders, Carolina beats the Falcons, Tampa beats NO, Chicago beats Minnesota, and the Commanders beat Philly.

*Seattle: 14-2
*Chicago: 12-4
*Giants: 11-5
*Tampa: 11-5
Carolina: 11-5
Washington: 10-6

Sad, but true, we'll likely go 10-6 and miss the playoffs this year. Gotta root for the Giants big this weekend and the Eagles over the 'Skins in the finale.

sadly i think washington is somehow gonna get in...i dont know how or why

This looks about right. I would change the Panthers and the Buccs however. The Panthers will win there division and the Buccs get the 5th seed. The Skins will be the Grinch that ruins the Giant fans Christmas.

Yeah but from a confidence standpoint it's a whole "different ballgame" now compared to then. In that game, and then in the following road game against S.F. we managed to get the ball in the endzone..or even at least more into the redzone if we woulda had to settle for field goals.

But whats the most points we've scored on offense on the road, since? 14, I believe. So ya we can win but it aint gonna be 28-24 or 33-31.

I'm sure we can score 10 on the road. Maybe break out for 17. If the D gives up more than that though (without creating a few turnovers along the way), look out.

This would be my playoff picture for the NFC as well. I think Dallas finishes up with a loss to the Panthers and a win over the Rams to at least salvage the season and go 9-7. Unfortunately it will not be viewed very well by the media after Dallas started 7-3 and was in control of the division. This will give JJ reason to pause before trying to ink an extension with the Tuna.

Our O-line is not nearly as good as it was then either.
