Marcus McNeillT 6-8 340 Auburn Line problems hampered the Cowboys in the last half of last season. No one will be happier than Drew Bledsoe to see this big man in front of him.

Ive gone up and down with McNeill.
In conclusion, I like him and think he was built to play the RT position which is what we desperately need.
But 18 may be a little high for him....

He is definetly on the board, but until FA signings start to paint a better picture, hopefully sooner than later,, there are several that could be worthy of 18.... Chad Jackson, Ko Simpson, Rob Carpenter, etc....

Everyone is getting their quarterbacks in FA and unfortunately that will push some of these other players up in the draft. I don't expect McNeil to make it to 18.

NO got Brees, Mia got Culpepper, NYJ re-signed Pennington and may still trade for Ramsey. FA has quickly changed this draft.

I don't see it happening, even if we don't sign any other free agent offensive linemen.

:hammer:

I like him too, but that back injury scares me and I wouldn't use a first round pick on him. If he's there in the second I'd take him.

By all reports McNeil is a reach at #18. There is only one tackle worth a first and he will be gone. Mangold may be the only other lineman taken late first.

Since There Is Talk About Larry Allen Being Released Why Not Give Him And Our First Round Pick To New Orleans For Their No 2 Pick And Fix The Problems In The Oline With D'brickashaw Ferguson?

Definitely not the sexiest pick but I think we could do a hell of a lot worse at this spot.

LA is not tradable...they tried that when BILL first got here! I think McNeil is a MIKE WILLIAMS clone and would have rather seen the BOYS take a chance on him than waste an 18th selection overall on a player thats in his mould!!!

when BILL was signed I was sold on his ability to get more out of his young players and develop the OLINE and D... I want my money back! all of it because what he did with the D was due to 3 first round picks and a 2cd and 2 4th picks along with 2 HIGH PRICED VETS!!!

Jerry could have did that and saved the 5 million a year he watsed on PARCELLS!!!

Unless we sign a top WR...Holmes or Jackson become my #18...if I like it or not.

Then the second round pick is the best OT that falls to us...and one will, possibly even McNeil. Who'd a thunk Flo was going to be a 2nd round pick in the day???

We should take a reciever anyway. We needs to build for the future and recievers usually take two years to develop.
