Glover knows it's early, but the up-and-down play from Week 1 to Week 2, combined with the long road trips, have him convinced Sunday's game against the 49ers is a must-win.

"Road games are important," Glover said. "We are still trying to find an identity as well. We are trying to find out what kind of team we are going to be. Can we handle success? Can we handle getting our teeth kicked out after giving up a game we think we should have won? We need this game."

I'm glad he feels that way. The whole team needs a sense of urgency ... not matter if it's game 3 or game 13.

Agreed because the raiders game, even though we have done well against them of late, will not be an easy game with moss there now.

You said it, because if we win the next game, we'll have a pretty good confidence level goin to Oakland. You can be sure they will test us deep too, and they have the means to do it very well. That will be the true test IMO. But if we lose to SF, I say theres not a very good chance of us beating the raiders.

I've never quite gotten that. Aren't all games MUST win when the best record gets you into the playoffs, byes, and home field advantage. I can see it now. Hey Roy I reallu dion't think we need to win this week so lets just hang back and go through the motions. HELLO you get paid million TO WIN

Bingo...anyone who is cahlking the Raiders game up as a "W" needs to be careful. they are 0-2...maybe 0-3, don't think for a second their next 5 games aren't MUST WINS for them.

Hopefully we will still have that "must win" attitude coming into week 4.
