WOW!

Listen to the nurse say "pseudo-drugs". Who is she trying to lie to?

Almost makes me want to go into dentistry just to watch this stuff.

That is some good stuff. When they put me under to cut out my wisdom teeth I was out in 3 sec. All I can remember is them telling me to count from 100 backwards I made it to 97.

I remember I was 15 when I got mine taken out. The nurse told me to go home and sleep, so I got in an argument over that with her. There was a video game I was addicted to and I would not agree to not play it. Apparently it was a pretty lively argument. My mom said she thought I was going to hit the nurse :laugh2: .

I just might stop to check you out.

Yes that is the next line in the song

I am high as a kite I just might stop to check you out.

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about the group Violent Femmes and the song Blister in the Sun

I have never been gassed at the dentist. They gave me a shot before pulling out the only two wisdom teeth that came in. After the shot it took the dentist about 5 minutes just to tug on them until they came out. One tooth cracked during the procedure and he told his assistant to make note that because it cracked it was more difficult to remove, which meant he had to charge more than expected.

Seriously it really only took him 5 minutes to pull out both teeth. It took slightly longer for him to administer the shot and wait for it to take effect.

I think they messed up my shot b/c when they took out a tooth of mine it hurt the whole frigging time. And the shot itself hurts like hell(Its like 3 of them) so I had a real ****ty time overall

I think I made it to 5 or 6 counting up from 1 to 10. I despise dentists and the thought of going under for oral surgery had a bit of adrenaline pumping.

My sister told me that when I came out of it and was being wheeled through the office, I told the nurse that if you could package that stuff and sell it you'd make millions. Apparently I was talking about another female patient that was walking into one of the exam rooms who had a lot of "personality".

I go and get mine out this friday, pretty anxious about it to tell you the truth. I've never been put under before, so this is all new to me. All the dentists' assistants are attractive and I know i'm going to say something dumb.

Like you, I was nervous about being put under when I had my wisdom teeth removed, but it was truly nothing. In my case, I wasn't completely asleep. My eyes were open, I could see, and I was aware that there were events going on around me. However, I had no idea what those events were, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't care -- at all. I was in la la land with no concept of the passage of time, and was perfectly content to stay there. My only complaint was I had to come back.:D

On mine all 4 were impacted and they had no choice but to put me under. It was my choice to have all 4 done at the same time only because there was no way I was coming back to have this done again, I wanted to get it over with.
