That's a great point. It's been brought up before too. But the same could be said about OT if we're picking at 44. Trading a bit back for Barmore might not be a bad idea. I just think he is going to go a little higher than people think.

Do the Cowboys ever trade back? I think I remember way back sometime around 2011 or '12?

If you believe this.......we can probably get quality starting CB with 44. I mean this is every reason NOT to take one at 10 but then again, what do you take if you can't trade back. There are times I hate this draft and drafting position (lol). Hell, name that the last draft that didn't have at least 3-4 defensive blue-chip players? Would line up nice and neatly with need at 10. This puts up in a real pickle......lol.

For who? I dont know. What I do know is you can get a starting cb round 2 easier than other positions relative to the first round players at a position.

This team likely has Surtain and Horn carrying a 1st round grade. Especially with Surtain, there are very few prospect as pro ready as him. And he is capable of being 1 of the very best CB’s in the league. Pitts and Surtain ar the only 2 players standing in the way of either Surtain being the pick. JMO.

Dallas tried this in 2017 and ended up with a couple mediocre Corners they are now looking to upgrade this year... I would rather go ahead and get an alpha like we had with first round pick Byron Jones

They also traded up for Morris Claiborne and where did that get them? We got a pretty good corner in Diggs in the second round, I think we can do that again. But we're not getting a good DT in the second round. Just my opinion. My guess is as good as anyone's.

I was never a fan of trading back so It never bothered me. But even I can recognize a draft where trading back is a good idea. This one has trade back written all over it for the Cowboys. The DT they could use is right there.
