Hire dates of former Cowboys head coaches

The Cowboys have a history of being in no hurry to hire a new head coach. So what we are seeing play out now isn't something out of the ordinary. Here are the hire dates of former head coaches:

Gailey February 13, 1998
Campo January 26, 2000
Parcells January 2 2003
Phillips February 8, 2007

No team is going to hire Shotty away from the Cowboys. So there isn't any need to rush into making him the next head coach. Maybe a new name(s) will come available soon, perhaps after the games on Sunday. Also there is a report the Cowboys are putting together a staff. We're getting there. Maybe not as quickly as some would like. But there will be an announcement come out of The Star and all the handwringing can stop.

Yeah, sometimes there’s just way too much media coverage with this team.
I’m in Louisiana, most friends are Saints fans (equivalent of rooting for dog poo) and there’s no where near the coverage. Sure there’s some arguing mostly for Moore and McCarthy and there’s a faction that likes Brady especially because of his LSU stint but nothing as hysterical as this!

MMs contract expired on the 14th....we haven't had to pay a HC in almost 2 weeks....this is JJs view of time is money.
