Some of us have cool hobbies or collect things. For me, I kind of relived my childhood through my sons. I got into it for them Action Figures to see their joy and other kids envied their toys. Well my sons could not just have the basic Spiderman,Batman,Superman. They had to have all the villains and their buddies. So for my younger sons Christmas Star Wars he could not just have a Storm Trooper I got about 8 of them. I would go to Toy stores, yard sales, and Collectible Stores search for the coolest. If I couldnt find them I would do what was call customizing a figure. Basically making a Batman & Robin become a Green Hornet a Kato. Like little known "Nighthrasher" I made him from a Shaq O'Neill "Steele" figure. Painted them, put super sculpty mold and Nighthrasher had nunchucks and I cut two toothpicks painted them black.. I made " Black Panther " from " Batman", " Reverse Flash" from " Flash " . I even still now look for special figures like from my favorite movie " The Warriors".

So what do you enjoy for a hobby?

Used to love building models, in particular 18th century sailing ships and WW2 era models be it soldiers/tanks/etc. Also used to have quite the collection of 1/72 scale military figurines, everything from classical era Rome/Greece to Medieval to Revolutionary War to Napoleonic as well as WW2. Also like tinkering with computers when duty calls.
I didn't do anything near this extensive but this is still pretty cool

:laugh:I remember those ads lol, it was like 2.95 for 200 soldiers and they were nothing but junk. That stinks that your Mom threw all those out, they would still be cool to have.
