Home Playoff Game or “Bye Week”?

Obviously you would prefer a home playoff game but would it be a bad thing if the Eagles won this week? Effectively locking us into the fifth seed.

If the Eagles lose this week — everything is still in play for week 18 so we are a full go. If they win— Pollard gets a full 3 weeks off as well as the team gets opportunity to rest other key players.

We will have to win on the road either way to get to get to where we want to go so unless you get a bye week, what’s the point? One home playoff game benefits Jerry’s pockets more than the team.

Even if the Eagles won, I don't trust McCarthy to make the right decision and he'd still have all of the starters in there deep into the 3rd quarter against Washington. Or he'd get pressured by the players because obviously they are going to want to play anyway

I’ll take my chances on the road. You cant count on in-state Cowboys fans to create a hostile playoff environment. Visiting team will come in big stepping like the 49ers and eat our lunch.

I seriously don’t get the whole “rest our guys” strategy. It has NEVER worked to help us win a playoff game.

This team simply cannot flip a switch and “turn it on” whenever they want to. Play the games. Rest the guys who are actually injured.

If Philly loses on Sunday, we have a shot at the division and a home playoff game which would be great. I also don’t just want to concede a game to Wash in wk 18… why help them make the playoffs?! Beat the brakes off em and treat em like a playoff tuneup… not a preseason game!

This team needs to go in pissed off and on fire… not trying to avoid getting hurt.
