Patriots, Colts, Giants and Bengals have one thing in common. The QB for each team was drafted by the respected teams. Could also include the Bears, although he hasn't played much.

My point to this story is BP first mistake is when he took over the team he did not plan for the future at the most important position in football. Instead he took the bandage path. Not to say we would be any better than we are now in the winning department. But had BP made a priority to find at no cost a young QB and played him. We would at least have a future QB with experience at this point.

The longer he plays QB like Bldedsoe and Vinny, just prolongs
the growth of the QB of the future.

I think you'll find many Cowboys fans think that way. We've been spoiled. We expect home grown franchise QBs, and nothing less. :)

It took them at least 3 years to see results. Can we wait that long? I don't think Jerry or BP can. Thus the short cuts.

The Patriots completely lucked out with a 6th round pick.

P. Manning has been starting for the Colts for eight years. What have they won?

Eli has been hot and cold all year. They are not winning because of Eli Manning. They have a premiere running back, a solid O-line, good WRs and TE, and a very good Dline.

And then there is the Bengals. Do you realize that Palmer is the THIRD Top 5, first round QB pick they made before they found one that could play? How long did they suck until they finally got it right?

Do YOU have the patience if we trade away half of our draft to move up for a QB and he busts for 3 years and we are right back to where we are now?
