Give Roy a break. He's only about to horse collar him cuz he thought Jackson stole his shoe.

Meaning ... The Roy Williams rule wasn't in place yet.

It wasn't a horse collar -- Roy never even yanked Jackson down. He grabbed him and tried punching the ball, like he did to Curtis Martin. But Jackson started turning toward Roy and falling backward (away from Roy), so Roy ended up punching the ball into Jackson instead of out of his hand.

Even so, who's to say he wasn't just going to yank on his jersey instead of grabbing the inside of the shoulder pad?

You people are being a bit too literal. I wasn't mocking Roy. I think the rule is silly and deliberately punitive. It's just a funny pic.
