ESPN.com reports that the Texans are targeting Brady Quinn in the draft, and may have a trade worked out with the Commanders.

Houston reportedly feels that they need to jump ahead of Minnesota to ensure landing Quinn. A trade wouldn't happen until draft day, but the rumors of Quinn "falling" down the draft board appear overblown, as we expected.

I've seen threads discussing "our next coach" already.

It's never too early to discuss anything in football.

Man, I bet BQ is praying that its not true. The Texans STILL have not done much to improve their O line. Though BQ should be used to running for his life since HIS O line sucked this year.

Browns passing on Quinn is like the Texans passing on Vince last year... the player man for the Browns came from the Ravens, he wont let that happen!!!

According to Clayton, both the Lions at #2 and the Browns at #4 are very interested in Brady.

I would think the Redstinks would be all ears if someone called with a trade offer for the #6 pick. The chance to get extra picks should be appealing to them considering their horrible draft situation this year.

They would get those extra picks and then trade them away for another "hopeful" player like Duckett before they used them for themselves.

That's called "Snyder Logic".

I didn't say they would use them smartly. :laugh2:
