How About Nate Solder?

Personally, I would prefer to not give up any player. And Solder has been good enough in the past to protect Brady.

The only downside is that he's 34 now.

There's really not much out there, but I think he'd be one of the better options to replace Tyron.

At this point I would like someone who has started and played a game in the NFL. As it stands right now we are entering the season with Ball, Waj-whatever his name is, and Smith as replacements for Tyron. None of them have taken an NFL snap at LT in a regular season game. I would have more of a comfort zone with someone who has started a regular season game. He doesn't have to be all pro or pro bowl, just a starter would be an upgrade.

Now if they feel Ball is starting material and they roll with him then what happens if he gets hurt? If they see that Ball has made a Terence Steele like improvement, I don't see it but if they do, we still need some T's signed for depth. But that would be planning ahead with the T position which is something our FO is stubbornly reluctant to do.

The latest word is that overtures from our FO have been made to Andrew Whitworth, who retired last year. He's awaiting a forthcoming decision from his family to settle this matter for him before taking it upon himself to make that move. We should hear something yea or nay, quite soon. What might come of this story is anyone's guess. His family will evidently be in on the upcoming decision, along with him. It seems there's hope, yet. Stay tuned.

He was really bad for the Giants, but played well for the Pats.

Maybe it's coaching?

I don't know. I'm trying to figure out an option without the team having to go after a 40-year-old.
Imagine a good bit had to do with how fast Brady gets the ball out!

He looked gassed towards the end of his time in NE. There is a reason why he was available to NY

at this point, I think experience is more important. we kept kicking the can down the road with not drafting for a LT and groom. well, we knew Smith was going to get injured at some point, that time happened to be in pre-season.

All of the guys on their couches have warts and some have advanced age. Might as well give the young guns a chance. We weren't going to the SB this year anyway. We are about to see if Dak can play as well as Joe Burrow.

Trade for Wynn. Its the only option that makes sense.

Signing up an old battered body when you have no leverage because you waited to long is stupid. Just buck up and make the trade. Sign him. And give Tyron a nice send off.
