How are we liking the new changes on the forum (software)

What do you guys think about it? I think it's cool some different looking things. When I go to make a post (that you'll love), a pop up comes underneath it, pretty cool. I know this will get moved, just seeing if anyone else is enjoying these new changes, thanks mods and blog creators!

One feature I liked was taken away.... your username and alerts icon (bell) in the upper right corner - you can no longer hover your mouse over your user name to see alerts and 'likes' you have received.

Why was that taken away?
