How can Jerry Justify Hiring Garrett ?

he got away with this in Washington at the end of the game when the genuis gave barber the ball 16 of 19 plays....but this ain't Barber and Pitt ain't Washington. I can make the play call he made

Garrett is beyond stupid. Sweet pitch to TO followed by an excellent fullback dive. ********.

I agree Garrett should have been on the field directing Witten to run the right routes and not cause INT for TDs

and I bet he never coaches them to turn their head and look for the ball either

I agree, I am done waiting for this guy to figure things out and get things going. TO was right he is still trying to do the same stuff as last year and hasnt been able to adjust. Any offensive coordinator that cant get TO or Roy Williams involved in the offense doesnt deserve to be a coordinator.

Thats it exactly, he has Witten too!

I think we are the only team in the league that doesn't throw slant passes. Many time expecially on that last drive we could have ran a slant and gained at least 7-10 yards...or even a wide reciever screen...I don't know what he could possibly be thinking

what happened to designed rollouts for Romo??

today probably wasn't ideal to use them, but we haven't seen one all year!

I've posted it in many other threads and I'll post it again.

Tashard Choice - 1st half, 157 total yards of offense.

End of game - 166 yards of total offense. How?

what are you talking about. In the 3rd quarter alone he had a 50 yard reception

Head coaching really doesn't have a lot to do with playcalling, but I think his playcalling would be a lot better if he had a dependable QB. You had the sense watching this game that Tony could turn the ball over at any moment; a great many of his completions were easy reads.

Parcells said they had to restrict their playbook because of Tony's tendency to lay it out there...and Romo hasn't shown any improvement in this area since then.

To answer the question, I don't know how good of a motivator he is...I've read he's the kind of guy who will call guys to task if they don't play well...but I thought the whole team played hard against a very physical Steelers team. Regardless of who the head coach is next year, Dallas would be foolish to not keep looking at QB's in mid round picks until they hit on one. Romo will suffice until then.
