How Can the Receivers Not Be on Page with Romo?

The QB and the receiver both have to read the defense the same way. It's like last year in Buffalo when Romo threw some bad-looking INTs and Witten read cover 2 while Romo read cover 3.

And you guys did notice that it was 15 degrees and windy the other day, right? That doesn't exactly let you put the ball exactly where you want it.

If we have people that can't determine the difference between a cover 2 and a cover 3 we have bigger issues than we thought (no offense, but don't just throw out football terms that high school kids are taught on their freshman football teams please)...

And forget the conditions...a 15 mph wind did not cause Witten to trun the wrong direction and Owens to cut a route off...if it did than that is the strongest wind since Dorothy and her dog left that house in Kansas...

Just because they're used in high school doesn't mean they aren't used in the pros, "coach". I was just using one example from the Buffalo game last year. Unless you think Jaworski doesn't know what he's talking about.

And it only happened a few times. Not every other play like you suggest.
