And you can't say it's because 50% of America hates the Cowboys, and Dallas is everyone's Super Bowl.

Because...why was Jimmy Johnson able to get it done then? How did he (they) get the players to "buy in" to winning on the field without getting hung up in the hoopla?

Jerry Jones was the owner then too. Coddled too much now? Jimmy used to make them practice in hot and humid Austin TX in training camp instead of Oxnard CA.

Jimmy was in charge of player personnel. It was in his contract. When he left Jerry and Stephen took on those roles. The rest is history.

Once Jimmy's leftovers were gone so was postseason success.
