How do I make a wallpaper?

All of these wallpapers look so good...what programs does everybody use?

i think im the only one who uses Macromedia Fireworks, i think like 98% of the artist use Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Creative Stuidio 2) they are like $400 and up programs, give me a PM and ill tell you how u can get them for cheaper shh though :

dude, just use Microsoft Paint, you can take pictures off the Internet, and do your thing for free, and then post it on imageshack.com to put it on here

You can do that with Photoshop too. It justs looks much better. Use Photoshop

Paint Shop Pro... It is VERY close to Photoshop but costs under $100...

I use them both...
