How do you feel about the 1st two days

Dallas is the only team in the nfl that knows exactly who they are drafting In every round before the draft even begins. They don’t care who is available. They’re drafting the guys they planned on taking no matter what. It’s an awful strategy.
Williams was the only one to visit them.

Is that what they did with CD? I don’t think this is true

If we had addressed our needs better in Free Agency with a couple blue chip players, I would feel better with this draft. A lot of deficits to be addressed with just 3 picks the first 2 days…even assuming that 2 will be starters

same. i actually like all of the selections but we’re just filling holes we created lol

I feel like they filled their 3 biggest needs. I think they took a step back at all 3 positions but could end up better off at one of them in the long run.

In an alternate universe they could have gone into this draft without these 3 needs and instead upgraded.

Maybe

Daxton HIll S
Jones NT
Chenal LB

Had they kept Amari, Gregory and Williams they could have gone this route.

Maybe even ended up upgrading over Williams while filling these 3 upgrades by taking a G in the 4th with a trade up. (Kinnard etc.)

I feel their only remaining chance to upgrade at any position on the roster at this point is by getting a 1 tech that is better than Bohana. Ridgeway, Otito, etc.

They aren't getting better but are trying to avoid getting much worse.

I think the team is pleased with their selections so far.
Smith was a bit of a reach it seems, but they were dead set on coming out of the 1st round with a starting OG/OT prospect, and they clearly felt he was their last shot at it.
Williams probably gets nickel pass rush snaps immediately and the hope is Tolbert gives you similar production to what Gallup provided as a rookie. We'll see...

I think Tyler Smith has a long way to go based on what I saw. Stevie already said he may not start? Yikes. Williams gotta stay out of trouble. Tolbert is best pick so far IMO.
He’s gonna start at LG.

I’d give it a B+
Got really good players at positions of need. Did not give up picks to move up, so they’ve saved ammo for rounds 4 and 5
Not giving up next years one is important because I see them drafting mid teens.

I doubt it. We should still win the division. Eagles added talent but there is still a deficit and Jalen Hurts is still their QB.

Division win will likely put us in the 20's

Terrible. We took high-risk guys when there were just as talented low-risk guys available.

I thought we would get williams in the 3rd. So getting Tolbert in the 3rd (who most had as a late 2nd round pick) where they got li led doesn’t matter anymore lol.. good day 2. Williams as a player is a monster man.. hopefully his character issues aren’t as bad as the media has said.
This guy transposed #'s 2 & 3...Not bad.
Kyle Youmans

mark my words sam williams will give us a bigger impact than randy gregory ever did, and everyone can accept how much RG could affect the game when he was ON.

tyler smith will be a future multiple time pro-bowler, smart player with size who is willing to work. Everyone wants to complain and whine but we definitely got better in the trenches in the last 48 hours

I don’t know. Will have to wait and see. We definitely drafted very good athletes at their positions. It’ll come down to coaching and dedication. There’s a very high ceiling with these guys and a low floor.

I feel like this team has to hit on post draft free agency. The draft picks are fine, but are they ready to get heavy snaps right now? It's been ok, nothing to jump around about.

We addressed three of our top needs. Of course, we also created those needs by cutting Collins, trading Cooper (not re-signing Wilson) and not re-signing Gregory. Hopefully, their replacements are better than they were.

Naw. We're just smarter than everyone else. They're drafting players that are universally thought to be worth the pick while we're drafting the only ones truly worth the pick. Well, us and New England.

That doesn’t matter. Dak called Tolbert days before the draft picking his brain. T. Smith was precisely who they told us they were drafting all offseason leading up to it. They just didn’t name him. They did the same thing with Taco and with LVE. Unless an elite prospect falls- they just take whoever they planned on taking.

Mike said he will split reps on the left side initially at both T/G.

Probably play at left G initially but they hope potentially he can move down the line to left tackle as Tyron eventually retires.

Time will tell but I bet they want him working both as to spell Tyron on reps and prepare him if they need to move him around due to injury.

I feel like they're drafting needs rather than going BPA which is what they did in the past two drafts. I wish they would just go BPA and figure out the rest.
