How does this team move forward?

This past week has been a reaction week of all weeks. We have players mom, brothers, ex-players, ex-coach and just about every media pundit - exclaiming both the problems & having the answers.

Who can we hear from that would make things tolerable? This team is backed into a corner, presently. Think hearing from JJ or MM or any player will tide your so? Exactly

How does this team go forward? Right now, the only answer I see- this team circling the wagons and closing the clubhouse doors. BUT, this team doesn't have the mental fortitude IMO too do that - there's not a single player that demands that type of captaincy IMO

HOW does this team block out all the negative and WIN? Think - Superbowl or bust is a helluva drug

They need to rally around McCarthy and Dak and we all have a hard time seeing that happen.

Thinking about this objectively I can see why Jerry Jones did not make a move. For all their postseason failures, the Cowboys HAVE gone 12-5 three years in a row and as the Packers proved; anything can happen when you get into the playoffs.

This is what Jerry is counting on. Dallas is the butt of jokes right now but they have the coach and (gulp) the quarterback that can get them to the playoffs.

We all believe- and for good reason- MM and company can't get it done. Jones, however, has even less faith he can find a coach (or QB) besides Big Mike and Dak that can.

And to tell the truth, getting rid of McCarthy and Dak would mean, at least initially, regression for this franchise. Jones is over 80 now and does not want to blow it all up and start over again yet. So it's rinse, wash, and repeat and hope 2024 is the charm.

Looking at the Houston Texans ( who actually won a playoff game and are at this moment tied going in to halftime with the #1 seed Ravens.) I like their future a little better than ours.
